Caitlyn Mills (2017)

Caitlyn received a B.S. degree in forensic science and a B.S. degree in chemistry from the University of New Haven in 2012. She then continued her studies at Northeastern University in Boston where she is currently a Ph.D. candidate and received a PhRMA Foundation Pre Doctoral Fellowship in informatics. Her research is in protein function annotation using computational methods to predict the function of proteins and testing these predictions biochemically, thus, bridging the gap between chemical biology and computational chemistry. Caitlyn is also very active in her local ACS section (NESACS) and is the current chair of the NSYCC.
