Marc Reid (2016)


Marc was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland. He graduated top of his class, earning his M.Sci. in chemistry from the University of Strathclyde. He later completed his Ph.D. in synthetic and computational chemistry, designing iridium catalysts for industrial radiolabelling applications. Marc is now a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Edinburgh, developing instrumentation for the study of fast organic reactions. Most recently, he was awarded a prestigious Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship, and will begin independent academic research in 2017.
